In strong growth, logistics and transport provider Rhenus Logistics France relies on TDI's Exlabel and Extracking solutions to support its clients and efficiently develop its activities in France.

As a Reflex partner, addressing carrier label management challenges, TDI offered the Exlabel solution, a web services application that enables the printing of labels for any integrated carrier.

An ever-evolving transportation partnership

After conducting tests in 2017, Rhenus Logistics ultimately adopted the Exlabel solution, which is now connected to 23 carriers. "Upon the arrival of a new client, we can offer a wide range of transportation offers and services. In the case of specific requests or the integration of new carriers, the TDI teams know how to react to enable us to start our activities without delay," says Alain Prudhomme, Director of Information Systems at Rhenus Logistics France. Building on this collaboration, Rhenus and TDI expanded their partnership over the years. The provider now uses the Extracking tool developed by TDI. This module allows them to query the real-time status of one or multiple shipments, access the tracking event history, and ultimately provide better traceability to their clients. "We have a customer portal that includes real-time visibility of order progress and proof of delivery. These elements are extremely important for our clients and their end customers today," says Alain Prudhomme. "In addition to considerable time savings, this ensures rapid connectivity with carriers, operational reliability, better cost control, and particularly efficient service."

Through this industrialization of transportation operations, Rhenus Logistics teams can focus on high-value-added activities such as optimizing costs and transportation plans for their clients. "The generation of transport labels is at the heart of our order preparation processes; we cannot afford any malfunctions.
