Logistics provider Stock AZ continues to develop its activities with the support of TDI

A forerunner in mail-order sales, and now a specialist in e-commerce and retail logistics, Stock AZ is a family-owned SME founded in 1990, which has managed its business to meet the needs of around sixty clients. Based in a 15,000 square meter logistics building located in Niort, the logistician handles the reception, storage, order preparation, shipping and product returns for its clients.

To manage all of its logistics activities, Stock AZ has implemented its own business software. However, at the beginning of 2019, faced with an increase in its volumes and activity, the logistics provider sought to upgrade its system: "Our IT tool served as an ERP, WMS, or even a TMS. But at some point, it began to show certain limitations. Concurrently, on the transportation side, it became increasingly complex to maintain up-to-date information-sharing with our carriers. Several of them notably urged us to switch to EDI," explaines Julien Hugaud, Stock AZ’s Director.

A large-scale migration, from logistics to transportation

The logistician then decided to change its software and acquired the Reflex WMS solution from Hardis, leading to the migration of its TMS activity from Expedito to Exlabel. "We quickly started using this first tool to print shipping labels, facilitate information exchanges, and manage all shipments from a single platform," detailes Julien Hugaud.

Today, still in the midst of migrating to its WMS, Stock AZ is also deploying TDI's second solution: Exlabel. This application developed in web services, connecting carriers via EDI, allows for the automatic generation of carrier labels, as well as transportation documents such as consignment notes or customs declarations. Stock AZ's objective? To finalize its entire project by the first half of 2024: "It was essential for us to adopt the solutions offered by TDI in order to offer a wider range of shipping solutions in France, internationally, for home delivery, and non-home delivery. This has enabled us to streamline and facilitate exchanges with our carriers. We were impressed by the solution's information availability and stability. The solution perfectly meets our needs," concludes Julien Hugaud.
