Focus on Expedito: choose the best carrier for your shipments with Expricing integration

Expedito Premium is our TMS (Transport Management System) that centralizes the management of  multi-carrier shipments.

The strength of this TMS also lies in the attached modular suite. Among the solutions in this suite is Expricing, a decision support API.

The integration of Expedito with the Expricing API allows you to automatically select the most suitable carrier for each shipment based on the eligibility criteria entered beforehand.

EXPRICING, THE DECISION SUPPORT API

Expricing is a decision support API that enables you to input transport-related information and choose the best carrier based on the configuration, considering:

• Transport scope: shippers, carriers, locations, etc.
• Customer transport plans
• Operational criteria: fuel surcharge, geographic zones, tariff grids, supplements, services, etc.

When creating a shipment on Expedito Premium, Expricing can be used as a reference to identify the most suitable services.

Two operating modes are offered:

• Manual: the choice can be made marginally by clicking directly on "choose a service."
• Automatic: the "choose automatic service" button allows the software to apply the first service suggested by Expricing, without any additional action required.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE BEST CARRIER?

Based on transport criteria such as destination, insured value, customs value, weight, cost, and transport service; Expricing will present eligible services in green.

The selected parameters will also provide an estimated delivery date, calculate tariffs, while considering cut-offs.

Choosing the most suitable transport service becomes straightforward. Expricing goes further by displaying transport price and resale price details.

On the sidelines, the application also features a "calculator" to assess the price and/or cost of shipments.
